Apple preps an iPhone 12 version with a 6.7-inch display and sensor-shifting technology

MacRumors cites well-known analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, according to whom, Apple is prepping a 6.7-inch iPhone 12 version for 2020 among others. This device will offer a significant improvement in its rear cameras, including larger sensors.

The information is listed in a research note with TF International Securities, in which Kuo predicts that this tech will trickle to 2 or 3 iPhones that will be released next year.
One of the major improvements is the sensor-shift technology meaning that the stabilization will be applied to the sensor itself and will not be a limited property of a specific lens.

In addition, Kuo expects periscope cameras to make it to the iPhones in 2022 and he predicts it will be designed together with the Taiwan-based Genius Electronic Optical.
With a 6.7-inch display, the upcoming iPhone 12 version will be the iPhone with the biggest display to date and is rumored to be slightly taller than the iPhone 11 Pro Max.
