Vivo launches the iQOO Neo 855 Plus with a Snapdragon 855 Plus chipset

Vivo has finally launched the iQOO Neo 855 Plus.
In Chinese, it is also referred to as iQOO Neo 855 Racing Edition.
For most of the part, this smartphone is identical to the iQOO Neo 855.

The main difference is the chipset. While the earlier model packs a Snapdragon 855 SoC, the iQOO Neo 855 Plus is equipped with a Snapdragon 855 Plus SoC.
The new smartphone retains the advanced ten-layer copper tube cooling system and Multi Turbo software features that optimize the device's performance in different scenarios.

Another difference is that the iQOO Neo 855 Plus has only two RAM+storage configurations: 8GB+128GB and 12GB+128GB. Unlike the previous model, the storage on the new model is from the UFS 3.0 type.
The design also remains the same with the Light Mint colour option replacing the purple color from the previous model.

That's all about the differences. The rest of the specs are one and the same.
The iQOO Neo 855 Plus has a 6.38-inch Super AMOLED display with an in-display fingerprint sensor and a resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels.
It offers a DC-like dimming feature, offers flicker-free and low blue light protection, supports HDR10.

Power is supplied by a 4500 mAh battery with 33W FlashCharge 2.0.
The camera department includes a 16MP Samsung S5K3P9 front shooter with an f/2.0 aperture, while on the back there are three cameras.

The main one has a 12MP sensor paired to an f/1.79 lens. The second is an 8MP ultra-wide unit with a 120° FoV and f/2.2 aperture.
Finally, there's a 2MP depth-sensing snapper with an f/2.4 aperture.

The iQOO Neo 855 Plus runs on Funtouch 9.1 OS Android 9.0 Pie with the iQOO Monster UI on top. The model is priced as follows:
8GB+128GB = CNY 2598 (US$ 368.35)
12GB+128GB = CNY 2798 (US$ 396.71)
