Vivo S5 is launched in China priced at CNY 2698 (USD 385). The handset features a 3D curved back panel with a diamond-shaped camera module that houses three shooters and a LED flash.
The fourth rear camera is positioned below the module. The main shooter has a 48MP image sensor and an f/1.79 aperture. Then there's the 8MP wide-angle camera with a 120-degree angle of view.
It is accompanied by a 5MP depth-sensing unit for portraits and finally, there's the 2MP macro shooter. On the front, the Vivo S5 sports a 32MP Samsung S5KGD1 unit positioned in a punch hole in the top right corner of the display.
The latter is a 6.4-inch Super AMOLED unit with a resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels. Performance-wise, the model is based on a Snapdragon 712 chipset with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage.
Power is supplied by a 4100 mAh battery with a 22.5W fast charger. The pre-sale starts tomorrow and the actual sale is scheduled for a week later - on November 22.
