During the first day of the Snapdragon Tech Summit and amidst the presentation of the Snapdragon 865 and the Snapdragon 765/765G chipsets, several smartphone manufacturers took the stage.
Xiaomi confirmed it will launch the Mi 10 in the first half of 2020 based on the Snapdragon 865 chipset. It will have four rear cameras with the main one being a 108MP unit.
A telephoto camera will offer 5x zoom.
Redmi K30 will also be the first 5G Xiaomi device in 2020 with Snapdragon 765, however. Xiaomi plans to launch 10+ 5G smartphones in 2020. Oppo joins the 5G Snapdragon 865 ranks as well.
It also became clear that the next ZTE Axon phones will arrive with the Snapdragon 865 chipset and the X55 modem in the first half of 2020. On their part, the future Nokia devices will focus on Snapdragon 765 due to its lower price.
The brand's future devices will have PureDisplay screens and ZEISS-based imaging.
